How To Renew Malaysian Passport Online

MyOnline Passport is an online facility for Malaysian to renew passport  through the internet. It is provided by the Immigration Department of Malaysia since September 1, 2016. However, first time passport application cannot be done in this website, you still have to go to the Immigration Department to do it.

Here are the steps on how to renew your passport online:

Step 1: Visit the website MyIMMs - e-Services.

Step 2: Read the terms and conditions carefully. After that, click "Setuju".

Step 3: Click " OK" at the pop up to continue.

Step 4: Follow the instructions on screen to complete the application process.

Step 5: Choose the applicant age category, passport number, ic number, office to collect passport then click "Cari"

Step 6: Fill in the details required and upload your photo. Complete your payment with either credit card or debit facilities. 

Step 7: Print out the receipt. The collection date and time will be stated on the receipt.

Step 8: Collect your new passport by bringing along the receipt, your identification card and old passport. 

Several things to take note:

1. Size of the photo uploaded must be 50mm x 35mm , in white background as follow

2. Attire should be in dark colour
3. Renewal fee for ordinary applicants is RM 200 (age 13 -59) whereas senior citizens (60 years old  onward) is RM100
