Natural Gas Tariff Raises Starting January 2018!

 

Gas Malaysia has announced a new natural gas tariff revision. The new revision will be effective in January 2018. 

The Government has approved  Gas Malaysia to effect the revision of the natural gas tariff for the non-power sector in Peninsular Malaysia from 1 January 2018 to 30 June 2018.

The Base Tariff and effective tariff schedules for the period commencing from 1 January 2018 to 30 June 2018 are as follows:

Residential consumers will be charged RM22.30 per MMBtu from the current BT of RM20.23 per MMBtu. 

"The tariff revision has no material impact on the company’s business operations, " said Gas Malaysia.
